Frequently asked questions
Can someone remove the blur?
No: the pixels of the areas are really replaced in the downloaded image; there is no layer to take off. For very sensitive text (a number, an address, a password), choose “Black box” and an area that is clearly larger than the text: a light blur on short text can sometimes be guessed.
How do I blur several faces?
Draw as many areas as you need: each drag on the image creates a new one. Tap an area to move or resize it, and its cross to delete it.
Why blur a licence plate or an address?
Before posting a photo on social media or in an ad, it avoids revealing where you live, your car, or the identity of people who did not agree to appear.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Blurring happens in your browser; the image never leaves your device.
